What gets me fired up these days? Creating AI-powered digital experiences that drive serious impact and make serious money!

I’m the Founder of Mosaic Accelerator and Co-Founder of Circles of AI, where I help bold entrepreneurs, scrappy solopreneurs, and forward-thinking organizations tap into the power of Generative AI, data analytics, and ROI-driven strategies. Whether it’s launching AI-powered tools, unlocking new revenue streams, or building unstoppable communities, I’m here for it – and I’m doing it with flair!

I’ve mentored over 150 startups as an Executive-in-Residence at New Ventures BC, taught AI, data, and digital strategy at UBC, SFU, BCIT, and Langara, and I regularly take the stage to keynote on AI, digital transformation, and intersectional entrepreneurship. I’ve been nominated as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network, named “The New Executive Cool Hunter” by Canadian Business, included in Business in Vancouver’s Top Forty Under 40, received the Trailblazer: Excellence in Leadership Award from Canadian Women in Communications, and most recently, named one of Canada’s Top 20 Black Tech Entrepreneurs by Techsoma Canada!

How I Got Here

Let’s just say... I didn’t start in startups. I’m a recovering investment banker who spent a decade deep in the world of finance before flipping the script and diving headfirst into the wild world of tech and entrepreneurship.

Over the past 30 years, I’ve launched and led companies across digital publishing, marketing tech, and social media – serving as CEO of BookRiff, President of Work at Play, President of OBehave!, Co-Founder of Elastic Entertainment, and yes, even Chief Blogger (before it was cool, monetized, or something your parents understood!)

I've helped global brands like MTV, Mattel, Warner Brothers, TELUS, and HSBC build digital platforms, engage communities, and unlock new revenue streams – with results that speak for themselves!

Creative Chapters

Fun fact: I’ve also spent decades immersed in the creative industries! I was the Executive Director of Women in Film & Television Vancouver, and back in 2005, I co-founded and launched Women in Film & Television Germany. I even dipped into the film world as the Production Executive for Everything’s Gone Green, written by none other than Douglas Coupland.

And for the visual artists out there – I co-founded ArtSites, a digital platform built to help creatives market and manage their online presence with ease.

The Whole Me

Born in New York City, I grew up in Tübingen, Germany – (Da glotzt Du, gell?!) – the daughter of an African-American professor of 19th-century German philosophy and a world-renowned, Puerto Rican opera singer. Yes, it was intense. Yes, it was amazing!

Germany taught me to see beyond borders. My American roots gave me chutzpah and hustle. And Canada? It gave me grit and staying power.

I hold an MBA in Finance and Business Strategy from the University of Chicago, and have earned Master Certifications in Product Development Management and Business Facilitation. My career has taken me from New York to Chicago to Silicon Valley, and now to Vancouver – where I continue to explore, lead, mentor, invest, teach, and build!

What’s Next?

I’m bringing everything I’ve got – strategy, sass, smarts, and serious experience – to create the best digital experiences EVER – with AI, data, and community at the core!

Today, Vancouver.
Tomorrow, the world.
(And yes, I’m still dreaming of that AI robot who’ll cook dinner for me! 😜)

Just for Fun

I swim long distances (think 3–5 km just to clear my head!), sing jazz like nobody’s watching, and cook up low-carb creations that may or may not include PB2 powder. I geek out on emerging tech, shared mobility, and have a not-so-secret goal of building an AI-powered playlist generator for spontaneous kitchen dance parties. 🎶🍳

And yes – I believe in big dreams, deep laughs, and doing business with soul! Because let’s face it – business is better when it comes with a groove!
